Certificate in Tourism Management (CMT)
Objectives :
• To provide opportunity of developing
professional career in tourism industry through
Gujarati
medium for the large number of youths in the state after 10+2.
• To fulfill the need of developing tourism industry of the
state by providing human
resources educated in tourism.
• To create awareness about the potentialities of development
in tourism industry by
providing proper education in the field of
tourism.
• To provide opportunity of education at training to the
present in-service employees of the
public
and private sectors of the state and thereby to fulfill the need
of training of the
concerned units.
Eligibility :
10+2 or equivalent examination passed. Equivalence does not
include I.T.I. training certificate course.
Structure of the Course :
Their will be three subjects containing 20 credits.

Evaluation
:
Term End Examination : (8 Credit : 100 Marks, 4 Credit : 50
Marks)(Weightage 100%)
• Student will have to appear after the end of six months.
• If he/she does not succeed in the term end examination, he
will have to appear for the
concerned subjects within the period of two years at his own
convenience.
• If he/she does not complete his course
successfully within the period of two years,
he/she will have to register his/her name again and pay the
prescribed amount of fees
again.
Standard Of Success
:
In order to get success in the course, every student will have to
secure at least 50% marks in each subject.
