CERTIFICATE IN PARTICIPATORY FOREST MANAGEMENT (CPFM)
Objectives :
·
With a view to make the institutions concerned with environment
strong, efficient and
responsible to the people, information about the administration
and scope of local self
Government will be delivered to the employees and citizens
concerned.

To disseminate information about the participant forest department
to the participant
employees and the members working in the structure of the forest
departments.
·
To explain them how to manage forest conservation transparent and
dynamic.
·
To develop understanding about concept of personality development
and how to
implement it in their day to day practice among
in the last person residing in remote
areas of
the state.
·
To give information about environment through participatory new
type of management.
Eligibility :
Successful candidates in 10 + 2 examination or Candidates having 2
years experience in natural resource management.
Structure of the Course :
There will be five subjects containing 20 credits.

Evaluation
:
Term end exam (Weight age 100%)
·
Students will be allowed to appear in the term end exam after six
months
·
If he/she fails in one term end exam, he/she will have to go for
the exam of concerned
subjects within the period two years at his/her own Convenience
·
Student failing to get through the exam. Successfully he/she will
have to register his/her
name again and pay the proscribed amount of fee again.
Standard Of Success
:
For completing the course successfully, candidate is required to
secure Minimum
40% of marks in each subject or he/she will have to secure at
least ‘ D’ grade.
